Shared Ownership, also known as New Build HomeBuy, is a government backed initiative to help first-time buyers find their feet through affordable housing options. The London Wide Initiative (LWI) offers affordable housing to key workers. LWI enables key workers to buy 45% of a property but also own it outright.
